Levitation…all about levitation…
The couple, they are always in the air…jumping, floating, drifting… they are everywhere ! They have all kinds of ideas, posing at all unimaginable ways and doing things that just make me want to laugh (till cannot shoot…). They are open to suggestions and they give more suggestions than I asked for XD. Very fun and lively Ewe Jin & Jacintha, I virtually have to chase after them in order to shoot them… man, that was really good work out 
What can I say? I love 2011 (so far), getting more and more couples that stirs up my creative mind more often. Here, have a look of my “hard work” (really hard to chase and not to laugh….you know…)

It is not usual to have couples that basically leave it all to the photographer, and not telling the photographer to do this or not to do that. I really appreciate the chance given to me to try out something new.

“Singapore is all the same….”
“Penang also all the same…”
“But we want some thing special…”
“Penang got what special ?… …”
“Georgetown loh…”
This is sort of how we started this very beautiful relationship between Penang and Singapore. A very talented and highly skilled designers couple from Singapore wanted a Penang photographer to shoot their pre-wedding photos in Georgetown. With special appearance of the Morris Minor accompanying the couple. Thanks to Yen Keng Hotel for letting us doing the shooting inside it’s heritage boutique (well, Gary and May do stay in the hotel … 
)
The weather was nice, and the couple were nice, with the very historical ambiance, Jack and I enjoyed very much taking the photos.
We shot and shot until we said ok, that was not enough… so after 2 months, we decided to follow Gary and May back to Singapore… (we were invited for the actual day wedding, both as guests and photographers…woo hoo !).
I fully agreed with Phua Chu Kang that Singapore and Malaysia are like brothers and sisters, nobody else on earth understands each other so well like we do
Gary and May, thanks for the invitation and hospitality, we enjoyed it and we hope you two have a wonderful life together…..

This is a photoshoot of Trust and Incidental. I received a call from a girl one day, at the first hello, I was already fallen for her sweet sweet voice. She was asking for a Pre Wed shoot in Batu Ferringhi and immediately I said OK. Usually I meet up with my clients first before I accept the assignment, but with that sweet voice of hers, I trust that they would be a nice couple to work with.
I was right, the shoot went really well and we traverse along the beach from the Ship restaurant to Hard Rock hotel. The journey was fun and somewhat …. lovely\

one of my closest and best partner in wedding assignments 
she is the art director, the beauty creator, the main person behind most of my wedding shots. Finally she herself is tieing the knot, and I am really honored to shoot her pre-wedding photos, yoo hooo ….
we did the shoot at Rasa Sayang, to some extent it is quite difficult because i knew her too well and she also knows the process too well….oh well, these are what turned out, hope she likes them

Congratulations to my neighbors
Eu Chun lives just a block away from me. They proposed this 60′s theme with an old Volkswagen Bus, and they actually found a Volkswagen Bus classic, from another neighbor opposite our block It was truly a community project.
Here are the results from the “collaboration project”, and I am looking forward to their wedding day in September … (more to come later…)

back to 20th centuries…
This time is the master T2, the great photography guru from Penang, the founder of Rojakstudio.com, the craziest of the crazies, the wackiest of the wackies, the MAN of all “manhunt”…aehm….aehm…
Finally, his time is up, we moan for the loss of his single status, whilst congratulating the beautiful Elaine for being the luckiest, capable and super tolerable (ahemm….towards T2) woman who managed to caught this genius for life sentence
with T2, the shoot was miraculously unordinary…michael jackson, gene kelly, The GodFather mafia boss, Thriller, Singing in the rain, the 90s, the 50s, the 20s… all happened at the Eastern and Oriental Hotel, Penang. Just like Cognac XO, time is the essence… which is the theme I use in this series for my photo buddy T2.
Shooting a photographer’s pre-wedding photos, with only one rule, which is NO RULE. This is what we photographers dream of, where creativity has no limit…with buddies like Bonus/Toshio, Fumi, Jack, Hayashi, Angela … it was fun and it was crazy… as usual
Terence and Elaine, I wish you two to live happily ever after… and yeah, T2, no more leng lui TT for you ya… please stay at home and TT Elaine can liao ya…wakakaka

One fine day, Kevin & Julie, my ex-colleagues, popped up at my door all dressed up.
I was surprised.
They asked me to shoot a set of photos for them….FAST FAST FAST….
I was still blur blur at the time, WHAT WHAT WHAT….
“Cepat cepat… nanti kena return itu gown lah”
Ohhhhh……………OK OK
So I grab my gears, go downstair, and we made these in 1 hour…
It was only after the photo session, I realized it was the first time I shoot Malay couple in a modern traditional costume, some more with a KERIS….
