Poladroid, I like it !
Thanks to hooikeat …. who introduced me to this nice little apps called Poladroid Image Maker . It made the photo into a polaroid format with its own processing. It is quite refreshing for the computer to decide the crop angle, colour and contrast.. an all refreshing look at my own photos from another person’s view.
This is not a new thing to many, but it is certainly the first for me to try, have fun

A call from T2, Nicole was in town, just touched down from Kuching. We went straight to Batu Feringhi and began the shoot.
Street shooting style, stormed into the sundry shop, and thank god the owner was a really nice sister, then went on to the beach….
oh ya…thank you Jack for the wonderful lighting setup.

Zero Origin “Rockin the World”

“This was my 2nd try try night portrait shooting + proper lighting set up done by buddies. This time we were not shooting any “sui” model, but a group of Penang Rock Band ~ Zero Origin ~”. It was really great pressure for me to join u guys to “rock together” that night…sweating from start until end… and big big thanks for t2 for the invitation. It was good fun and exercise especially for me wakakakaka!
Zero Origin was formed through our love for music and performing. It was by chance, how the current line up was formed. Kevin, Crispin and Ken was form Ground Zero which was active in the Penang scene in the early 2000’s. More details about Zero Origin background + music please click ZEROIGIN. Melliana, Zenith, Malene and Foong

Thanks to Spiderwork & Jack for the invitation to join this special “friendship portraits” outing a few week ago. The shoot consist of 4 friends, 3 locals and an exchange student from Indonesia. And I was surprised that one of the local girls turned out to be my cousin, as I can hardly recognize her…so paiseh lah! For me…doing group shots is not a easy job and I ended up doing more individual shots kekekeke…ok enough talk, here are some to share.

Charming * Charmaine

Simple as that * Daphne

2 months ago, daphne made a trip to penang and we had a short photo session at fort cornwallis. There was a TT session for daphne that i missed in august, but this time, i made sure i was free of work to attend. haha
A little bit about the model… it’s almost 2 years since i last collaborated with Daphne, she is the girl in my “Chihiro’s Stroll through Scenic Georgetown” & “Waiting for U” album. This time she changed a new hairstyle, and as usual she still look so pretty and have a pair of sweet dimples! haha…..So please, enjoy the photos.

Charmmaine

Yvonne – Penang SideWalk

Last weekend, we were happy to have the opportunity to do a shooting sessions with Yvonne (a good friend of Winnie “one of my previous wedding customer). About 1 and a half hour shooting around “love lane”, together with my 2 photo buddies “g3k” and “jack”. All photos taken by Sony R1 haha…(old gear but still performed good)
