Just be a kid….
Posted on 05. Aug, 2010 by TY in Blog
Nowadays, adults no longer dominanate the world, I think the kids do. Years ago you would not have imagined children below 10 are shooting like pros, using almost pro-equipments to shoot. They are creative, they are fragile, they are not to be messed with… ..so what can you do?
Simple, JUST be a kid… if you cannot fight them, join them… welcome to the shortside.

I Missed You…
Posted on 27. Jan, 2010 by TY in Blog
last few months have been busy… got home every night after midnight. It is really tiring to be a wedding “cameraman” and the post processing takes a long time. I think Malaysians need to be more creative in games for the groom… lately I think I have seen more than a fair share of grooms wearing bras and disposable underwears. When I process the thousands of photos, I begin to think there are deja vu here and there…. I really hope to see more different ideas that does not involve men wearing women. I wonder what happened to the dear old various Chinese tradition…
The hengtai/brothers are generally sporting enough to take up all the challenges with the groom, but there are some who just refuse to let down their “pride and dignity” for the games. Although sometime I do pity the hengtais, but as a cameraman, I really wish they would be more “cooperative”, because if they do not partake the challenges, I have nothing to shoot….wakakaka…
Ok, so it is not about me mumbling about my job, I love to shoot wedding, don’t get me wrong. What I wanted to say is how much I missed my baby. Nowadays I always put YQ photo next to my work station, by looking at her photos, I get my motivation to continue working harder…
her not-happy face, ok ok face, and happy face
don’t you love her too ??

TY.my * New Blog
Posted on 16. Sep, 2009 by TY in Blog

I have moved! As you can see you are now at TY.my, but don’t worry, Penangart.com is currently under renovation for different presentation, it will be back…someday….stay tuned
To ensure smooth transition and a new start, I have consulted the great wisdom of the forefathers, with the help of my friend and through modern technology…. The “通胜” from my ipod
For most Chinese, “Tong Seng” is not something new, but a somewhat mysterious book. I am not particularly in to it, but I do hope to get the best out of it….
Hopefully ty.my can make you feel closer to me …
Once again thanks for the great job from my friend “shipng” & my web designer “forres & Jason”.
My Cameron Highland trip
Posted on 13. Jul, 2009 by TY in Blog
I have lost count how many trips i have been travel there. But i am very sure we visit there at least twice a year just do nothing up there… ![]()
Being a wedding cameraman, it is not an easy job… often the day starts at 6am and ends at 12am… Cameron Highland became my haven to relax, recharge and inspiration. “actually, my wife always complain I never spend time with her… sigh, what to do, everybody want to get married on Saturdays and Sundays, and my wife only have her days off on Saturdays and Sundays….
”
anyhow, just to share some photos after I have piled up tons of them in my hard disk
