Posted on 29. Feb, 2008 by TY in Landscape/Macro
With the blink of an eye, another year has passed and it’s time again to pay a visit to one of Penang’s most famous landmarks: the Kek Lok Si Temple.
All these years, there are a lot of photos that have been taken that shows the beauty of the place. And the photos has become quite common. Since last year, I’m trying something different, and do hope that you’ll be able to accept my vision of the most beautiful temple in Penang.

I’ve never tried to shoot a wedding function using high ISO before so when the opportunity came, I was more than happy to do it. The set of photos below, some of my favorite shots to share, are of my friend’s wedding dinner, held at “32 Mansion”, one of the most expensive and extreme low-light restaurant in Penang.

Trip to Langkawi
Posted on 12. Feb, 2008 by TY in Travel
The name Langkawi is a combination of “Lang” and “Kawi”. “Lang” comes from the Malay word helang which means eagle. In the past, the land was a home to innumerable eagles. “Kawi” is Sanskrit for marble, which is found in excess in this part of Malaysia. Both words are joined to form the word “Helangkawi” which ultimately became Langkawi.

Apparently, I seem to have attracted some attention and this time it’s the Sato family who wanted me to take a picture for their family portrait. The Sato family engaged my services and these are the results. It was fun during the photoshoot and it’s an eye opener for me.
Many thanks to Tohsio, allow us to take some shots in his paintball field at Golden Sand Beach:)

The couple is back to UK and i would like wish them have a lovely new life there
