More and more weddings have become a fusion of cultures. When planning a wedding between two different cultures, embrace both cultures by incorporating ideas and traditions from each will normally create a very unique affair.
Woon Hong and Aei is one good example, Island boys meet City Girl. One of the most memorable shots I’ve ever done. This pre-wedding was taken from bustling cityscape of Bangkok to the famous beach resort town, Hua Hin in Thailand and concluded in pearl of orient Penang. The van ride from Bangkok to Hua Hin was definitely an exciting one and we were having so much fun throughout the journey and the shooting session together with Teetoo and Alan.
Big hugs to the funny couple, congrats on embarking a new journey as husband and wife. By the way, I miss the local Thai Food so much~!
ขอแสดงความยินดี!

It’s been a very long long while since I posted any wedding photos. After numerous feedback, I think I should start continue it again ~~
Bali, like a very good coffee, I kept coming back for more. It’s aroma and charm never cease to amaze me everytime… and shooting weddings here is like having double shot. Very song!!
Villa Mary plays host to wedding, which was kept small and personal. The weather was cooperative – supplying streams of sunlight, complete with a romantic sunset. But the highlight of the wedding wasn’t the scenery. It was during the moment the hand of the bride left her father’s hand… and another set of hands held her. The bride’s dad gave a very assuring smile that her daughter is in good hands. This moment of intimacy….. magic.
The balinese band kept the mood by playing a mix of songs and one that stood out was a chinese number, “月亮代表我的心”.. WOW!! Bands are really international nowadays. hahaha.
Anyway have a look-see at the pictures captured …… with a cup of hot coffee.

A “Skirttish” Wedding
I Love Penang…this small island truly attracts everyone, as well as Penang girls ….
This is my n-th time shooting weddings of multi-nationalities…and I really love it because it brings some new “spice” to my life and also a good sign of Penang as an international wedding hotspot
Roy from Scotland (yeah, you can see he is a real Scottish just by looking at his outfit
and Sim Yee from Penang have met each other in UK and had their wedding reception in Penang’s very own Eastern and Oriental hotel. The guests from Scotland also brought their ceilidh dance to celebrate the occasion. It was fun, warmth and sweet to see the Scottish dancing to the Scottish tunes
Roy and Sim Yee, I hope you enjoyed the occasion. Here are some of the evening’s highlights. Btw, and thanks to my photo buddies “luffu” & “kitoki” for joining us!

Levitation…all about levitation…
The couple, they are always in the air…jumping, floating, drifting… they are everywhere ! They have all kinds of ideas, posing at all unimaginable ways and doing things that just make me want to laugh (till cannot shoot…). They are open to suggestions and they give more suggestions than I asked for XD. Very fun and lively Ewe Jin & Jacintha, I virtually have to chase after them in order to shoot them… man, that was really good work out
What can I say? I love 2011 (so far), getting more and more couples that stirs up my creative mind more often. Here, have a look of my “hard work” (really hard to chase and not to laugh….you know…)

It is not usual to have couples that basically leave it all to the photographer, and not telling the photographer to do this or not to do that. I really appreciate the chance given to me to try out something new.
We all had fun doing all the weird/funny/odd/siao siao posing at the heart of Georgetown ![]()
Here, enjoy some of the high lights from the shoot …
